Morgan Freeman

Amerykański aktor i reżyser filmowy.
Zanim trafił do kina kilka lat pracował jako mechanik w Siłach Powietrznych Stanów Zjednoczonych (Air Force US). Zaczynał karierę od występów w musicalach. 1968 Hello, Dolly! - debiut na Broadway’u. W latach 70. występował w TV serialu dla dzieci The Electric Company. W 1971 roku debiutował w filmie Who Says I Can't Ride a Rainbow?.
W 2003 roku został uhonorowany Kryształowym Globem za wybitny wkład w światowe kino na Festiwalu w Karlovych Varach. Po czterech nominacjach zdobył Oscara za drugoplanową rolę męską w filmie Clinta Eastwooda Za wszelką cenę w 2005 roku.
